The Electrical Melting Company is an Edinburgh-based band playing original new music, and covers from late 60s. Their setlist varies but may contain songs from Syd’s Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, the Velvet Underground, the Byrds and Nancy Sinatra.

The current incarnation of EMC was formed in 2024 and has released two singles “Suburban Bourbon Man” and “Insane”, available on most streaming platforms and as physical CD. A new album is currently in the pipeline, with several of its songs ready to play at the next gig.
